happy 2012...

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and start to 2012.  It feels like we are a little late, but having taken an extended holiday since Christmas, we are only back to business today.  Yippee - it was lovely to have a nice, relaxing break and to think about the coming year for presse-papiers and this blog.

There's something about the beginning of a new year that ignites feelings of hope and imagination for all that lies ahead, and perhaps for all that may be possible. Although that might just be the effect of too much sun and wine over the festive period as well ;-). But in all honestly, we are envisioning lots of exciting things for us this year, including:

* a real focus on DIY and crafty talent
* a broadening of this blog to connect with other like-minded folk , and as always
* we want presse-papiers to represent and stock all the gorgeous paper product and supplies that we as thirty-something year old women and mums use in our daily lives! Simple, yet unique and beautiful paper and stationery products to pretty our homes, offices and lives.

So a few minor tweaks and changes to look forward to over the coming months.

As presse-papiers celebrates it's first birthday, we also mark a year writing this blog. It's been another huge learning curve, but definitely a much liked aspect to our new world.  If only we could find more time in the day, we would love to spend more time here!

It's been lovely to join the online community of bloggers - there are so many creative and inspiring blogs out there, which we also partly blame for our lack of posts! We are too busy reading, and oohing and aahing over the pretty things that we discover!

Hopefully in our second year, we will be more disciplined and write more posts!
